Who do you think was the only American manufactured Automobile to ever win the Cannonball Run?  Cool

Kind of makes you wonder what happened to that Ole Caddy?

Did anyone even know, that every Sunday on there way to Church, they were actually driving a historically important race car?  Wink

Hopefully its tucked away in a safe place like Steve McQueen 's "Bullitt" Mustang.

It should be at the Cadillac's main office on display if you ask me.

I see 2 H-Bodies made that list too Grin  ( Vegas )

The book describes one Vega that (If I recall correctly) was a 454 big block wagon. Almost made it, and in good time, but lost the rear axle somewhere in California.

I need to see if I can find that book again. It's here in a box somewhere. I thought it was a good read.

I wanted to build a V-8 Vega real bad when I was a kid. Wink
