Thanks JM for posting the pics

When i have some other eye candy ill get pics to you

We are gonna powder coat a set or two and play with some combinations of what can be done with them.

gonna do the all finned ones in wrinkle black and sand off the fins for example.

will probably have some tumbled in media and clear coated  or who knows im trying to find a color that matches caddy blue and ford dark blue in powdercoat.

Received several more pics just the other day.

I apologize for the delay in getting them posted up. It took me a day or two to realize they had arrived.  Embarrassed

Here they are...

Perhaps JW or Marty wouldn't mind stopping by when either has a spare moment. And tell us a bit more about what we are looking at.

The first pics are of the "cardboard" covers used for fitment.
The others are of the flat top covers as cast without machine work done.
These things take a lot of time to get done right. Not throwing stones but look at the Cadco oil pan issues.
We hope to have the product fit correctly the first time

Hey Marty,

Thanks for stopping by with that information. I'm curious about the "cardboard" covers. Could you explain more about what they are, constructed from, the process, etc? My old high school metal shop had some basic sand casting equipment. We were able to cast a small aluminum anvil, but it was flat on the back-side(half an anvil Huh?). We did not go further into the process & learn to create a full profile item.

I don't know if I will need new covers or not.  I 've had the Potter stud mount rockers for a few years and haven't put them on to check clearance under the stock covers.   I wont be putting the lifters, rockers etc on until I'm ready for start-up, because of lubing the cam & lifters when I'm ready.
Those new ones really have a clean smooth look to them.
