Looked through the Stant thermostat catalog.  Stant says the Caddy Big Block takes a 13459 (195 degree) or 13458 (180 degree) thermostat.  No other auto/light truck engine family uses that 'stat according to the part number guide at the end of the catalog.

OTOH, I'm finding crossover to John Deere and International heavy-truck thermostats, specifically JD p/n AR48675 and Robertshaw  p/n 332-195 or 332-180.

Is the Robertshaw 332 series 'stat correct for a Caddy 472/500/425/368?  I can't find an on-line Robertshaw catalog, and the Robertshaw web site is useless for automotive thermostats.

Here is a bit of info on Cadillac 472/500/425 thermostats. http://caddy500.com/index.php?topic=697.msg4994#msg4994

As far as I know... There is no other thermostat that will interchange.

Good luck

This is what Stant shows for interchange of the 195 degree 13459 thermostat with other manufacturers.  I'm leery of using an interchange guide as an application guide--but this is the best I've seen (so far).  (The link has more info than is presented here--check the various tabs.)

Here is a picture of the Cadillac T'stat.

I seem to recall being able to pick up a Stant 180 degree T'stat from Napa. I wouldn't run the 195 T'stat.

You can use whatever T'stat you want as long as you plug that internal cooling port.

Good luck
