This is one of the many kits available that create two interlocking X-Braces that mount almost vertically behind the rear seat to square up the car in that area.

They look fairly easy to make. Check your local salvage yard. I found several frame braces on an El Camino locally. Unfortunately the guy thought they were worth about 2.5 X $ then I did.

I haven't had much time to follow up on this post. There is a lot of info to be had at:

my coupe had no mods to the frame in this area and endured 1.37 60ft times. Nice work though
